Mike Barthlomew
Service Officer - Army
Mike's military career lasted 2 years 9 months in the Army as a supply and Armour specialist. He spent 1 year in Saigon and 7 months in Quinon, Vietnam.
After leaving active duty he worked for the Navy at Long Beach Naval Shipyard for 15 years as a machinist and then transferred to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma for 13 years as toolmaker supervisor. He retired in 2008.
He joined the VFW in 2020 in Oceanside, California and in late 2020 his wife and him moved to Tucson.
